Jackson is in K4 and Noah is in K3! I am blessed to work in the same building as their classrooms! God is FAITHFUL!

From My Mentor Friend Diane
A few days ago I was stirred in my heart and thought I would share it with you.
I was facing some issues and felt a little bit discouraged and this is what I learned.
Scripture to think on is 1 Corinthians 9:24-25 Holman CSB
Do you not know that the runners in a stadium all race, but only one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may win, Now everyone who competes exercises self-control in everything. However, they do it it receive a perishable crown, but we an imperishable one.
Each of us have a sphere of influence those that God wants us to be our best around. We are called to persevere in the tough times and not to give up. Do you ever have days you feel like you are moving 2 steps forward and 3 steps backward? I do! I am learning to keep moving forward and to give my best no matter what it looks like. Remember life is a marathon not a sprint and we are running for the ultimate prize. The goal of our salvation.
An athlete in training is gaining muscle every day he trains but he can not always see the results. Then one day he can see where he started and know he has come a long way.
There is a scene in the movie Facing the Giants where the coach ask Brock a football player to give him his best in the bear crawl and then he blindfolded him. Brock wanted to give up many times because it hurt because he did not think he could go on. The coach began to encourage him to give his best but then as he grew tired the coach got down alongside him and yelled at him saying don't you give up you are almost there. The Holy Spirit is saying to us don't you give up you are almost there at your breakthrough. You can do this be strong and courageous. Fight the good fight of faith finish the race. God is calling us to be the best we can be. His word says GREATER IS HE THAT IS IN US THAN HE THAT IS IN THE WORLD. So whatever each one of us are overcoming in our lives I'm here to say to you I believe in the God in you and the good in you, you can do it. Stand strong and keep going forward for Jesus.
